Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a family can make. Our strong sense of community, combined with our commitment to learning and student wellbeing, makes Watsonia Primary School a welcoming and supportive environment for all.
We invite you to join one of our school tours, where you’ll receive detailed information about our curriculum, specialist programs, and day-to-day classroom experiences. You’ll also have the opportunity to see our school in action and ask any questions you may have.

Each year, we run Prep Information Evenings to support families of kindergarten-aged children. These sessions provide valuable insights into the transition to school, key dates, and how to best prepare your child for their first year. We also host a school Open Day in March of each year.
In Term 4, we hold Prep Transition Sessions for students starting the following year. These sessions help children become familiar with their classroom, teachers, and new classmates, making their start to school a positive experience.
Our teachers are dedicated to meeting the individual learning needs of every child. You can be confident that your child’s strengths will be nurtured, and any areas of need will be supported.
Please note, children starting Prep must turn 5 years old by April 30 in the year they begin school.
